Join The Hoya!

The Hoya's the most respected and read publication on campus. But we're depending on new members to keep it that way - in reporting, photography, design, editing, layout, advertising, business and marketing. Why should you get involved in The Hoya? Check out the sections below to find out!

NEWS

In the past year alone, Hoya reporters covered speeches by Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Laura Bush and Robin Williams. You can cover speakers, events and trends happening on campus.

Georgetown is located in the heart of Washington, D.C. As a Hoya reporter you'll have the opportunity to cover local news, as well as city and national politics.

SPORTS

The men's basketball team made it to the Final Four last year, and The Hoya followed them around the country along the road to Atlanta. You too can cover the Hoyas as they aim for the national championship this season.

Georgetown has over two dozen other varsity teams, including its highly-ranked men's lacrosse squad, which made it to the national quarterfinals this season. Be on the sidelines covering all the action.
