Swimming and Diving

Four divers closed out the 2005-06 swim and dive season last weekend. Sophomore duo Kelcey Moore and Katie Oldham finished fourth and sixth, respectively, in the one-meter diving event. Senior men Santini Reali and Doug Curran swapped ninth and 10th places in the one- and three-meter events with Reali taking ninth in the three-meter event and 10th in the one-meter.

Lacrosse

Two women’s and one men’s lacrosse player were named to the Tewaarton Trophy watch list yesterday. Junior attack Coco Stanwick and defender Laura Cipro are joined by men’s senior defenseman and co-captain Reyn Garnett as Georgetown’s representatives. This is Stanwick’s second nomination for the trophy and she is the third Stanwick to receive the nomination, joining sisters Sheehan (COL ’01) and Wick (COL ’03). The Tewaarton trophy is awarded annually to the nation’s best male and female lacrosse players and is voted on by a panel of current and former coaches from all three NCAA divisions.
