In-House Changes Rooted in Tradition of Service

There’s a lot going on at THE HOYA these days.

This week, we debuted our most sophisticated website to date, marking this staff’s renewed commitment to serving readers beyond our print edition. The site offers expanded opportunities for blogging, multimedia and integration with social media — in short, a more regular stream of content than ever before. Visit us and see the changes for yourself, as we strive to better inform your Georgetown experience.

Alongside our changes on the web, we are making strides in our print edition. In the pages of THE GUIDE, published in today’s issue and online at www.thehoya.com/guide, you’ll notice a facelift that lives up to its role as a resource for life on the Hilltop and beyond. On page four of our main section, an updated design now offers you notable quotes from our stories, featured history from HOYA archives and the latest exclusives from our website.

As THE HOYA evolves, our dedication to quality remains — even if reaching you in the 21st century demands we pick up the pace. Along the way, let us know how we’re doing. My inbox is at the ready and my door is always open.

Eamon O’Connor (COL ’12)

Editor-in-Chief
