Last year, 2AM Club brought their “hip-hop rock alternative” vibe to Georgetown Day – well, the night of. This year, a couple of things have changed. The invited performer is playing at 9:30 p.m. – at Regents Lawn with indie rock band Stone Cold Fox – and the announcement of his arrival probably came as a great surprise to many of you. We’re talking about Casey Abrams, a singer-musician who placed sixth in American Idol. There are a number of impressive things about Casey, including his very expressive face. Behold: the many faces of Casey.
This is Casey Abrams.
He was on American Idol.
He impressed the judges with his voice (duh) and with his instrumental abilities.
Born in Texas, Casey spent most of his youth in California.
He majored in music at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
His musical influences include Ray Charles, James Taylor and Frank Sinatra.

The music video for his single “Get Out” features him stalking and dreaming about a woman in New York City.
Casey also released a version of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with fellow Idol contestant Haley Reinhart.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, Case!
