Student Assaulted, Robbed in Glover Park

A student was allegedly assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by two unidentified suspects at the intersection of Manor and Observatory Places NW, early Tuesday morning, the Department of Public Safety reported Wednesday.

At 12:35 a.m. Tuesday morning, the first suspect came out of a white van with a gun and told the victim to lie on the ground, according to [a DPS Public Safety Alert](https://publicsafety.georgetown.edu/84507.html). The suspect was joined by a second suspect, and the two searched the victim’s backpack. The student’s laptop computer, iPhone, cash, headphones, study materials and a gift card were stolen, according to the PSA and a Metropolitan Police Department report of the incident. After the suspects left the scene heading north on Observatory Place, the victim reported the incident to MPD.

According to the PSA, no physical injuries were reported.

The first suspect was described as a black male between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot tall with a dark complexion and dreadlocks, and the second suspect was described as male, DPS reported. “
