Two members of the Georgetown men’s golf team finished in the top 20 to lead the Hoyas to a seventh place finish at the Colonial Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by the College of William and Mary. The team finished 33 shots off the lead, concluding the two day event with a score of 525. The University of Richmond won the tournament with a score of 592.
Junior Tristan Lewis led the way for Georgetown, shooting a 77 on the first day and a 75 on the second to finish 11th place individually. Freshman Nick Cook continued to impress finishing only two shots behind Lewis, shooting 78 in the first round and 76 in the second round for a combined score of 154 and an 18th place individual finish. Also competing for Georgetown were senior Daniel Giraudo who shot 159 for a 36th place finish and juniors Cody Courbier and Andreas Huber who both shot 164 and finished in a tie for 58th place.
The tournament was held on the par-72 Golden Horseshoe Green in Williamsburg, Va.
