Leo’s (E, S, F)

Leo J. O’Donovan Dining Hall — Leo’s, for short — is Georgetown’s main dining hall, located next to the Healy Family Student Center (HFSC) and near New South Hall. The lower floor is a buffet-style hall that typically offers many meal stations with different options (including allergen-friendly and halal stations), as well as a salad bar, pizza, soup and dessert. The upper floor features six permanent spots that offer sandwiches (Bodega), sushi (Sushi Do), coffee and pastries (Whisk), Mediterranean (Olive Branch), Asian (5 Spice) and Mexican (Sazón), as well as one rotating station that changes cuisine several times a year. Most stations close at 8 p.m., but the upstairs Mediterranean and sandwich stations remain open until 10 p.m. As a first-year, expect yourself to spend plenty of time at Leo’s.

Epi’s (E, F)

Epicurean & Company, or Epi’s, is located beneath Darnall Hall and offers take-out options and a coffee shop (Ily). Epi’s buffet offers rotating lunch and dinner options, as well as a salad and soup station, while the grill (Ignite) and noodle bar (Wok Street) serve sandwiches, pizza, noodles and bao buns. Epi’s is open until 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 2:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, making it a hot social spot for weekend late-night eats — eating chicken tenders or a quesadilla past midnight at Epi’s is a core memory for many students.

Leavey Center (E, F)

Locations in the Leavey Center provide quicker meal options for students on the go or between classes. Near Sellinger Lounge, Crop Chop offers build-your-own salads and Chick-fil-A provides all your fast-food needs (well, except on Sundays). Toward the back of the Leavey Center, Royal Jacket Deli is a student favorite that offers build-your-own sandwiches and Starbucks stocks familiar caffeinated favorites.

Einstein Bros. Bagels (E, F)

Located on the second level of Car Barn and near the Edmund A. Walsh Building, Einstein’s is a great quick spot for bagels, sandwiches, smoothies and coffee. Einstein’s can be a lifesaver on long days with back-to-back classes in Car Barn or Walsh.

Hilltoss, Uncommon Grounds, More Uncommon Grounds and Midnight MUG (F)

The Corp, Georgetown’s student-run catering organization, provides students with the caffeine and snacks needed for long study days. Hilltoss, located in the HFSC, has sandwiches and bagels alongside several signature drinks. Uncommon Grounds, located on the second floor of the bookstore, and More Uncommon Grounds, located in the Intercultural Center (ICC), are also quick, great stops for caffeine and snacks between classes. Midnight MUG, a beloved spot for study breaks on the second floor of Lauinger Library, is open until 1:30 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday, 9:30 p.m. on Thursday and 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. As brutal as study days can sometimes be, a coffee or ice cream sandwich with friends at Midnight can often get you through the night.

Hoya Snaxa and Vital Vittles (F)

The Corp’s other two locations are convenience stores. Located underneath Kennedy Hall, Hoya Snaxa is open late and features snacks, frozen food, bottled drinks and ice cream — it’s a great stop before bed on weekends to pick up a carton of Ben and Jerry’s or some Bagel Bites. Vital Vittles, located in the Leavey Center, offers the same food, as well as household items such as toiletries, cleaning supplies and pharmacy products.
