Event Coverage

If you want The Hoya to cover your event at Georgetown University or in the surrounding area, email our news editors at [email protected] with the date, time, location and a brief description of the event. Please submit your event by the Wednesday before the event to ensure our news editors will be able to assign a reporter to your event. Events submitted after that deadline may not be accommodated. The news editors retain full discretion over whether to cover the event. 

If you would like The Hoya to cover your cultural event (such as a play, movie, concert or other) in the Washington, D.C. area, email the editors of The Guide (our arts & culture section) at [email protected] with the date, time, location, a brief description of the event and press pass benefits. Please submit your event at least a week before the event to ensure our Guide editors will be able to assign a reporter to your event. The Guide editors retain full discretion over whether to cover the event.
