A Georgetown University employee reported that an intruder had forcibly gained entry into a Georgetown administrative office building at 3307 M St. NW and stole several laptops early Saturday morning, according to the Department of Public Safety.
The building, which is home to the administrative offices for the Georgetown School of Continuing Studies as well as the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs, was unoccupied at the time of the theft, which occurred between Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 11:15 a.m. DPS is investigating the situation.
