Blige, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, will.i.am, Martin Luther King III, Jamie Foxx and others.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all are encouraged to volunteer around D.C. The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at the GU Medical Center from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and a Social Action Boot Camp will be held in the Intercultural Center beginning at 9 a.m. featuring workshops and various speakers.

Presidential Swearing-in Ceremony, National Mall

Ceremony will feature welcoming remarks by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), musical selections from Aretha Franklin and John Williams, featuring Itzhak Perlman and Yo-Yo Ma. President-elect Obama will be sworn in by noon.
Inaugural Parade, Pennsylvania Avenue
Free, 2:30 p.m., open to public at 7 a.m.
Will feature military regiments, marching bands and floats.
Youth Inaugural Ball

National Prayer Service
