Freshman Rebekkah Brunson was named to the Big East Women’s Basketball All-Star Team, an honor that follows up her Big East Rookie of the Year honor.
The team will tour Germany from June 10 to 20. The roster consists of 14 players, one from each school in the Big East. The players will hold a pre-tour training camp at Boston College from June 8 to 10 before embarking on a five-game competitive tour against German club teams.
Brunson was the Big East Rookie of the Year after leading the conference in rebounding (9.2 per game). She also averaged 14.8 points per game for the Hoyas, shooting .509 from the floor.
