Burglary, Village A, 5:20 a.m.

The complainant reported that she was awoken by a suspect that entered her residence and laid on top of her. The suspect left after the complainant screamed. There were no signs of forced entry. MPD was notified.

Disorderly Conduct, Lauinger Library, 9:32 a.m.

The complainant filed a report concerning a patron’s disruptive and threatening behavior. The suspect left the premises prior to DPS arrival. An investigation is ongoing.

Harassment, Old North, 10:50 a.m.

The complainant filed a report after receiving several unwanted emails and phone calls from a suspect. The suspect was identified. An investigation is ongoing.

Theft, Village B, 2:30 p.m.

The complainant reported that person or persons unknown removed his bike from a bike rack in the area of Village B.

The complainant reported that person or persons unknown entered into her office and removed her wallet.

Saturday, Sept. 27

Theft, Yates Field House, 12:19 p.m.

The complainant reported that person or persons unknown removed rackets, shoes and other personal items from his locker.

Fire, Village A, 1:31 p.m.

DPS received a report concerning a fire in the area of Village A. The fire was a grease fire caused by the grease on the burner. The fire was extinguished and the damage was limited to the burner.

Theft, Darnall Hall, 4:02 p.m.

The complainant reported that person or persons unknown removed his secure bike from a bike rack in the area of Darnall.

Burglary, 1400 Block of 36th St. NW, 5:34 p.m.

The complainant filed a report after coming in contact with a suspect in her residence. The suspect left the area after telling the complainant that he was in the wrong house. This case is currently under investigation; MPD has also been notified.

Burglary, 3500 Block of O St. NW, 7:27 p.m.

The complainant filed a report after coming in contact with a suspect near the front door of her residence. The suspect left the area after telling the complainant that he was in the wrong house. This case is currently under investigation; MPD has also been notified.

Suspicious Activity, Old North, 11:48 a.m.

The complainant contacted DPS after a suspect was seen wandering around the area, approaching people about buying textbooks. The suspect was identified and removed from the building.

Burglary, Dahlgren Chapel, 12:30 p.m.

The complainant reported finding evidence that person or persons unknown attempted to break into some crypts located in Dahlgren Chapel. A hole was punched in the drywall. No suspects or witnesses have been identified. An investigation is ongoing.

Burglary, Henle Village, 6:08 p.m.

The complainants reported that unknown person or persons entered into their residence and removed jewelry, electronic equipment, footwear, sunglasses and articles of clothing. MPD was notified. There were no signs of forced entry. This case is currently under investigation.
