Wednesday, Oct. 8

Theft, New Research Building, 8:32 a.m.

A complaint reported that an unknown person or persons entered into her office and removed her camera. An investigation is ongoing.

Suspicious Activity, Harbin Hall, 11:15 a.m.

A complainant reported receiving a suspicious package. The package was not addressed to a specific person. Members of DPS responded and discovered that the package contained batteries for a PDA device.

Theft, Village B, 12:44 p.m.

A complainant reported that a person or persons removed her secured bicycle from a bicycle rack in the area of Village B.

Thursday, Oct. 9

Theft, Darnall Hall, 10:14 a.m.

A complainant reported his bicycle stolen after securing it to the Darnall Hall bicycle rack.

Unlawful Entry, Southwest Quad, 1:01 p.m.

DPS was notified by the complainant after discovering an unidentified person in her room. The unidentified person left on their own accord. There was no sign of forced entry, the complainant was not harmed, and no property was reported missing at the time of the report. An MPD investigation is ongoing in conjunction with the DPS Investigations Unit.

Theft, 2100 block of Wisconsin Ave., 1:58 p.m.

A complainant reported the theft of his laptop computer from his office area. An investigation is ongoing.

Theft, Leavey Center, 2:23 p.m.

A complainant reported the theft of her Nintendo Wii gaming system from her secured office. An investigation is ongoing.

Theft, Reiss Science, 3:06 p.m.

A complainant reported the theft of his bicycle after securing it to a guard rail in the area of the Reiss Science building.

Friday, Oct. 10

Theft, Old North, 2:29 p.m.

A complainant reported the theft of a box of coffee from the office supply room.

Theft, ICC, 5:02 p.m.

A complainant reported the theft of his bicycle after securing it to bicycle rack in the area of ICC.

ischievous Conduct, Tondorf Road, 8:13 p.m.

A complainant reported to DPS that an unknown person or persons were throwing objects at a GUTS bus. Upon further investigation the objects were identified as water balloons and no suspects were identified.

Drug Violation, Southwest Quad, 10:50 p.m.

A complainant reported possible drug activity in the area of Southwest Quad. DPS arrived on the scene and discovered evidence of drug activity. A suspect was identified and the drugs were confiscated as evidence by DPS. An investigation is ongoing.

Sunday, Oct. 12

Theft, Darnall Hall, 8:53 p.m.

A suspect was apprehended while attempting to steal two bicycles and a scooter from the bicycle rack outside Darnall Hall. MPD was notified, the suspect was arrested and all property was recovered. An MPD investigation is ongoing in conjunction with the DPS Investigations Unit.

onday, Oct. 13

Theft

A complainant reported the theft of his scooter from the area of LXR. MPD was notified and the case is under investigation at this time.
