The complainant reported the theft of two laptops from an office.

Fire, Lauinger Library, 11:53 p.m.

The Department of Public Safety responded to the area of Lauinger in reference to a trash-can fire. The fire was extinguished; the fire did not cause any injuries or property damage.

Saturday, Sept. 8

Fire, Harbin Hall, 1:44 a.m.

DPS responded to the area of Harbin in reference to a trash-can fire. The fire was extinguished; the fire did not cause any injuries or property damage.

Theft, Village A, 2:42p.m.

The complainant reported the theft of an iPod.

Theft, Copley Hall, 3:07 p.m.

The complainant reported the theft of a bicycle.

Saturday, Sept. 9

Assault, 36th Street, 2:29 a.m.

The complainant was walking toward 36th Street when approached by an unknown male who verbally and physically assaulted the complainant. The Metropolitan Police Department was notified and the complainant was transported to the GU Emergency Room. The suspect was not identified.

Monday, Sept. 10

Theft, Lauinger Library, 6:13 p.m.

The complainant reported the theft of a laptop.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

Theft, ICC, 6:55 a.m.

The complainant reported the theft of a bicycle.
