The complainant contacted the Department of Public Safety after seeing what appeared to be a weapon in the hands of a suspect. The object was identified as a tool used to repair a Xerox machine.

Friday, Feb. 22

Suspicious Activity, Kennedy Hall, 5:15 a.m.

The complainant was awoken when an unknown intoxicated suspect entered the bedroom and began to urinate on the floor. The suspect was identified.

Saturday, Feb. 23

Burglary, 36th and N Streets, 4:20 p.m.

The complainant filed a report with DPS after finding evidence that an unknown person entered into a residence in the area of 36th and N Street. The complainant reported that several electronic items and a back pack are missing. No suspects or witnesses have been identified. The Metropolitan Police Department was also notified.

Theft, Leavey Center, 1:05 p.m.

The complainant reported the theft of a computer.

Correction: A Feb. 20 incident listed as a threat on the Department of Public Safety blotter (www.thehoya.com, Feb. 29, 2008) stated that a suspect was identified as a tool used to repair a Xerox machine, when what was identified as a tool was actually the object the suspect was holding.
