Georgetown’s 4-0 start is the team’s best since the 2003-04 season, the year before Head Coach John Thompson III took the reins.

Senior center Roy Hibbert had four fouls in Wednesday’s game. Hibbert, who was in foul trouble for much of last year’s NCAA Tournament, only had a total of four fouls in the Hoyas’ first three games.

Hibbert is the only Hoya to score in double digits in all four games this season, averaging 16.3 points per game.

Old Dominion out-rebounded Georgetown 41-34 (including a 22-9 edge on the offensive glass for the Monarchs). It was the first time this season the Hoyas have grabbed fewer rebounds than their opponents.

The Monarchs’ sophomore forward Gerald Lee had more offensive rebounds (10) than the entire Georgetown team (nine).

After going 0-of-5 from the field, sophomore forward DaJuan Summers’ shooting percentage is 32, down from last year’s mark of 41.2. However, Summers’ rebounds (6.5 per game) and assists (1.5 per game) are both up from his averages last year.

Senior forward Patrick Ewing, Jr. scored nine points against Old Dominion, his best point total since becoming a starter at the beginning of the season.

Georgetown turned the ball over nine times. It was the first time this season they have held their giveaways under 10.

No Hoya played over 30 minutes Wednesday night. Ewing led Georgetown with 28 minutes.
