Hoyas Place Fourth in Big East Tournament

The Georgetown men’s golf team finished fourth at this weekend’s Big East Championship match in Notre Dame, Ind. Georgetown shot 898. Virginia Tech finished with a final score of 865 to win the event.

Two Hoyas finished in the top 15, including sophomore Nick Cook, who shot 217 to tie for fourth place overall. With this score, Cook garnered a spot on the 2002 all-Big East men’s golf team. Sophomore James Farrah finished at No. 12, while seniors Tristan Lewis and Cody Courbier tied for 21st. Freshman Bob Molina rounded out the Hoyas’ weekend with a 233 to finish at No. 24.

The Hoyas finish their season this weekend when they compete in the Penn State Invite.
