Mail Boxes Etc. in Poulton Converts to UPS Store

The Mail Boxes Etc. store located in Poulton Hall was converted into a UPS Store beginning April 7 as part of a national plan to convert 3,300 Mail Boxes Etc. stores to UPS Stores. In 2001, the UPS bought Mail Boxes Etc.

The UPS Store will still offer all of the services formerly offered by the store, with the exception of FedEx services. Services include the sale of postage stamps, certified mailing, copy and fax services, mailbox rental, money transfer capabilities, passport photo services, the sale of office and shipping supplies, printing, notary services and the full range of support offered by the United States Postal Service. In addition, UPS shipping service will now be available.

The change will lower prices on overnight, international and ground shipping, according to a broadcast e-mail. New prices are already in effect, and the signs inside and outside the store will be switched from Mail Boxes Etc. to UPS in the next few weeks.
