At 35th and Prospect Streets, a tree fell on top of cars, causing closure of the block.

  • A snowstorm that battered much of the East Coast hit Georgetown on Wednesday, inconveniencing residents and pedestrians at 35th and Prospect Streets, where a tree fell atop cars.
  • In East Campus, a power outage continued through the night as Pepco service and delivery of a generator were held back by the winter mess.
  • Even still, students found cause to craft an igloo on Healy Lawn.
