Plan A Cherrypicks Facts, Ignores Reality

To the Editor:

I find it ironic that the Plan A-sponsored “Bro-Choice 2” panel featured men.

I was once told that, because I have certain anatomical features, I have no right to defend the innocent lives of *in utero* baby boys and girls. The Bro-Choice panel, however, alleviated this sexist policy by stating that men can talk about abortion – but only if they voice their support for the murders of *in utero* baby boys and girls.

I also find it interesting that members of Plan A chained themselves to the statue of John Carroll. It might surprise many at Georgetown to learn that John Carroll was the first Catholic archbishop of the United States.

In protesting their alleged grievance that the university is “chaining” them for their stances on condoms, perhaps the people of Plan A are inadvertently demonstrating that they seek to restrain not only all sense of decency and morality, but also Catholic social justice, which stands for all life – not just for the unborn, but also for the poor, immigrants and the elderly.
