Goodbye Pinkberry

Goodbye+Pinkberry

Bye Pinkberry

Bad news, froyo lovers – just in time for the imminent return of Hoyas back from winter break, our local Pinkberry at 3288 M St. has filed for bankruptcy and is now closed.

We here at 4E recognize what a significant bummer this is for many of you. Pinkberry was a place for first dates, friend dates and “Wow, I could really use some frozen yogurt” me-time.

Well, don’t worry, there are still plenty of ways you can get some delicious treats in the Georgetown area. Bring a friend and go for some brunch, winter-style. Take that crush of yours to Leo’s and spice it up with Nutella waffles soundtracked by “Rack City” or Jackson 5, depending on the day. And instead of making the trek to Pinkberry (which, let’s face it, is not very practical in the wintertime anyway), stay in the comforts of your own room and eat all the Ben & Jerry’s you have.

And to Pinkberry: rest easy, old friend – Sweetgreen frozen yogurt just isn’t the same.

Thanks to Georgetown Metropolitan for the info.
