Two Students Pursued, Assaulted on Campus By Moises Mendoza Special to The Hoya Two Georgetown students were assaulted early Sunday morning according to a broadcast e-mail sent by the Department of Public Safety on Tuesday afternoon. According to DPS, the incident began when one of the students was struck by a moving vehicle while walking on O Street. The students and the driver exchanged words, but as the students headed back to campus, the driver of the vehicle followed them on foot and stopped them outside Village C near Dahlgren Chapel. He then proceeded to strike both students with an unknown weapon. The suspect fled the scene and was last seen driving away on 37th Street. According to DPS, the suspect is described as a black male between 6′ and 6′ 4″ with a dark complexion and a slender to medium build. He also had short hair with a beard and was wearing gray dress pants with a cream-colored shirt.
