A student reported that a swastika was drawn on him earlier this month while he was sleeping, in what the Department of Public Safety has deemed a bias-related incident. According to a DPS public safety alert sent via e-mail to the Georgetown community last night, the victim, a resident of Harbin Hall, woke up to discover a swastika drawn on his left thigh with a thick black marker. The alert said the student had left his door unlocked. The alert estimated the time of the incident as close to midnight on Jan. 11. The incident is currently under investigation. The student, who wished to remain anonymous, declined to comment pending a meeting with a university administrator.
