Enters placed first in the 50-yard freestyle and took second place in the 500-yard freestyle, two performances that were exceptionally rewarding in front of his hometown Delaware audience.
The Hoya swimmers face Rutgers this Saturday in their last meet of the regular season.
Head Swimming and Diving Coach Bethany Bower is optimistic about her teams’ potential in the Big East, especially regarding their underdog status as being one of few non-scholarship teams.
The Rutgers Invitational meet will take place in New Brunswick, N.J., at 11 a.m., where the Hoyas will have their final chance to qualify for post-season competition.
