Relay for life

RELAY IS COMING! Your newsfeeds have been covered in purple for the past week, snow cones have been on sale outside of Red Square, and campus is decorated in posters asking you if you’ll be there.

Hint: the answer is “yes, you will”. Or, at least, “yes, you should”.

If you’re not completely convinced, here’s a helpful acrostic poem to let you know what Relay will be like and how to get involved.

Register! You can register here and make a donation to help the fight against cancer. You must be registered to participate and it only takes 5-10 minutes! This is where it all begins, folks.

Eat: There will be plenty of food at Relay, including burgers by GUGS! Bring whatever snacks you’d like to sustain you and your friends through the night!

Luminaria: Luminaria bags are bags with candles that are personalized with a name, photo, message or drawing in memory or honor of a friend or loved one who has been affected by cancer. Luminaria can also be dedicated in support of a Relay participant. Each luminaria candle represents a person. There will be a beautiful ceremony to respect these people that you will not want to miss.

Airbrush Tattoos: YES. There WILL be free airbrush tattoos. Need some ideas? Check a few out here. There will also be student performance groups and a bouncy house! GET PUMPED.

You: Yes, I mean you. Relay would be nothing without you! See you there!

When Friday, April 12 – Saturday, April 13 (7pm – 7am)

Where Harbin Field
