“SECRET SOCIETY” | TITLE FIGHT
3/5 stars
Title Fight returns this month with its second studio album, Floral Green, and the album’s first single, “Secret Society.” Carried by guitarist Shane Moran and drummer Ben Russin, this punk song is fast paced. The single proves that there are still bands left over from the punk craze of the mid-2000s that are worth listening to.
“RUNAWAYS” | THE KILLERS
4/5 stars
After a brief year-and-a-half hiatus, The Killers have reunited to record their fourth studio album. “Runaways,” the first single, sounds very much like a Killers song, complete with Brandon Flowers’ signature vocals and the country-music touches the band has come to love to incorporate.
“PUSH AND SHOVE” | NO DOUBT
4/5 stars
No Doubt brings back its bouncing beats in the single “Push and Shove,” the second from the group’s comeback album of the same name. The song is energetic and will have you bobbing to the rhythm, proving once more that Gwen Stefani has a knack for getting songs stuck in your head.
