Looking for a theater experience outside the front gates? New theatre company Tattooed Potato presents “The Nightmare Dreamer,” a show about a man who experiences other people’s nightmares for them so they can sleep peacefully. The nightmares involved include typical frights like hooded figures and horrid screams, but also aerial ballet and crowded city streets.

The 100th annual Cherry Blossom Festival is still going strong, with great events this weekend. Head to the Southwest Waterfront for a fireworks festival. This explosive presentation will begin after eight hours of free music, delicious food and celebration in the area. With music from the US Navy and Army bands, a food truck rally and a waterfront beer garden, the celebration will be a great way to spend a warm Saturday.

Head down to the 9:30 Club to hear rising electronic music star Feed Me. One of the first artists to be featured on Deadmau5’s label, this distinctive act will keep you dancing all night long with crazy beats and rocking synth. They’ll be supported by Teeth, a UK dance trio with a catchy sound of their own. Wear comfortable shoes to this concert that will appeal to the hipster in all of us.
