VIDEO | Following Little Amal

Little Amal, a 12-foot puppet representing a young Syrian refugee who travels across the world to raise awareness about human rights, visited Washington, D.C., on Sept. 19. Multimedia Editor Emily Han films the walk with Amal to the U.S. Capitol during which speakers including Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) and Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) gave remarks. Georgetown’s Laboratory for Global Performance and Politics helped to organize the event.
