A student in Kennedy Hall found an unknown person in their room this morning, according to a Department of Public Safety alert.
At 5:30 a.m., the victim woke up and saw the unidentified person, who has been described as a male, and chased him out of the room.
A wallet had been stolen, but the victim was not harmed.
The student had left the door unlocked and there were no signs of forced entry.
DPSÂ and the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the incident.
