The Georgetown Program Board’s annual Spring Concert is making its 2025 return! Get ready to jam out to Dayglow and Beach Weather on April 4. The event is at McDonough Arena — doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets also include access to the Pre-Concert Bash at 5 p.m. with free food trucks, lawn games and a mechanical bull! Mario Kart Tournament with a Live Band
Are you an avid video game competitor? Do you play even better with live music? If so, now is your time to shine! Georgetown Gaming is collaborating with Prospect Records and Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. & Northern Virginia, to create a Mario Kart tournament featuring a live band. The event is happening on April 6 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Bulldog Alley. Donations of $3 are required to play, but anyone can come and enjoy the music and competitive karting. Snacks will be provided!
Ballet Folklórico Mexicano de Georgetown (BFMG) is presenting their annual spring showcase this Sunday, April 6, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Gaston Hall. This event is a celebration reminiscent of equinox festivals in Mexico. It advertises itself as a wonderful opportunity for the Georgetown community to learn about and celebrate Mexican culture. If you are interested in regional dances, delicious homemade food and a variety of guest performances from across the DMV, stop on by! The event is free and open to everyone.
Vibe_ Comeback: Performance Showcase
Vibe_, Georgetown’s on-campus K-pop/urban dance crew, is having their second annual performance showcase at their Comeback Special! The show is this Saturday, April 5, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Lohrfink Auditorium in the Rafik B. Hariri Building. The evening is promised to be filled with debut appearances and guest performances from Georgetown and the D.C. area. A dinner and social hour in Intercultural Center 115 to celebrate the end of the season will follow the showcase!
