When Kirsten Anderson joined the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business (MSB) as a professor, there was no official maternity policy in place. Pregnant with her first child, Anderson taught up until the day before her daughter was born in mid-November. By second semester, she was back in the classroom.
In this video, Anderson and others reflect on their experiences in the MSB as women. From Anderson’s experiences over two decades ago to the students holding leadership positions in business-oriented clubs, watch to hear from these Georgetown community members in their own voices as they reflect on their time at Georgetown.
