Reynolds Rooms Burglarized

An undetermined amount of cash and various electronic items were stolen from several rooms in Reynolds Hall on Friday, according to a Public Safety Alert sent out by the Department of Public Safety Friday evening.

Several students told DPS that they had left their rooms at 8 a.m. and upon returning at 3:50 p.m., they found that their rooms had been burglarized. Some of the doors had been secured, according to the students, but there was no sign of a struggle. Other students had left their doors unsecured.

No suspects have been identified, and the Metropolitan Police Department is leading an investigation. DPS was unavailable for comment.
