THUMBS UP: New Beginnings – A brand new class of freshmen and transfer students are arriving on campus this weekend ready to embark on their Georgetown journey.

THUMBS UP: Better Late Than Never – University Information Systems has announced that by the end of this academic year all campus dorms will have wireless access.

THUMBS DOWN: Costly Commute- The Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority has instituted massive rail and bus fare hikes, up to 33% in some cases, to compensate for a budget shortfall.

THUMBS DOWN: Dangerous Omelettes – Tainted eggs have caused a salmonella outbreak that has sickened over 1,500 people. It is the largest occurrence since the disease started being tracked in the 1970s.”
