**Forced Farewell:** The D.C. Board of Zoning Adjustment voted 5-0 to revoke Philly Pizza & Grill’s certificate of occupancy. It is unknown when the decision will be enforced. *Thumbs Down*

**Olympic Breach:** A mentally ill man obsessed with Vice President Biden was able to reach within yards of Biden during the Vancouver opening ceremonies. *Thumbs Down*

**High Profile:** Georgetown SFS professor Anthony Lake has been nominated by the United States to head UNICEF. Lake is also an adviser to President Obama. *Thumbs Up*

**Auditing Tragedy:** A man deliberately crashed a plane into the IRS building in Austin, Texas, killing himself and an IRS employee. Thirteen agency employees were injured in the crash. *Thumbs Down*

**Medal Mania:** At press time, the United States led the overall medal count for the Vancouver Winter Olympics with 18 medals. Germany was second with 11. *Thumbs Up*
