The Georgetown baseball team’s (19-22, 2-13 Big East) conference woes continued Friday, as Connecticut (26-12, 13-2 Big East) swept the Hoyas in an afternoon doubleheader in New Britain, Conn. A five-run fifth inning clinched the first game for the Huskies, while the Blue and Gray dug themselves a hole early in game two and could not come back. Georgetown has now lost 10 of its last 11 games.
