A student returned to his Kennedy residence on Tuesday to find his room burglarized, with two laptops and an iPod taken and his clothes out of order around the room.
According to a Public Safety Alert issued by the Department of Public Safety, the student came back to his room at 3 p.m. after leaving at 2:45 p.m. and discovered the burglary.
The student reported to DPSÂ that he secured his door when he left and found the door unsecured upon his return.
Representatives of DPS could not be reached for comment.
