A Georgetown faculty member’s residence on 35th Street was burglarized at around 12 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Department of Public Safety.
An unknown subject possibly entered the residence through a second floor window and stole a laptop computer, according to a DPS Public Safety Alert. No one was in the residence at the time, and no other property was reported missing or damaged.
The victim reported the incident to MPD at 12 p.m. and to DPS at 8 p.m.
DPS representatives could not be reached for comment.
