Dear readers,

After a two-year hiatus, the Food Issue returns with new features about the Georgetown and D.C. food scenes. From Peter Tran, the beloved sushi chef at Epicurean, to the history of dining halls on the Hilltop to Bad Saint, the Filipino eatery revolutionizing the local restaurant scene, this edition tells the stories of the chefs, restaurants and dishes that shape our community.
