ABOUT THIS ISSUE

From lunchtime meals in Leo J. O’Donovan Dining Hall to a fancy dinner at the Michelin-starred Fiola Mare on the Georgetown waterfront, the range of food options across campus and Washington, D.C. has never been more diverse. Food is one of the many ways in which students can explore their own culture or discover new ones through culinary experiences they can not have anywhere else.

From cooking their roommates elaborate meals to finding specialized restaurants that appeal to their diets, students choose to engage with food in increasingly diverse ways, creating a way for students to build identity and community through their palates.
